Here’s how you can host the perfect day at the venue:
At Kelmarsh Hall there are three beautiful rooms licensed for civil ceremonies. Whether you’re looking for an intimate ceremony with only 40 guests or a larger affair of up to 140 guests, you have the luxury the following multiple options:

The Orangery is a beautiful glasshouse tucked away privately within the grounds. It overlooks stunning views across the parkland and leads through into the gardens; perfect for those pre and post ceremony photo opportunities.

Beyond the Great Hall is the Saloon; with its elegant chandeliers and unparalleled views across the lake opening to the countryside, it’s charming and romantic setting is perfect for any ceremony.
(Licensed for 140 guests)
The Ballroom oozes sophistication with delicate paintings hanging from the walls, and peer glass mirrors creating a warm country house setting.
The beauty of all three rooms comes from the limited decor you will need to invest in. All that will be required are pretty blooms to incorporate your wedding palette. Remember, less is really more when it comes to this wedding venue.
If you opt to have an intimate religious ceremony the Hall can be used in different ways that will allow your day to flow seamlessly.
For Hindu ceremonies, the Mandap can be set up in the Ballroom while the Saloon and the Great Hall work well for the Jaan arrival and morning breakfast. If the weather is on your side you also have the option of an outdoor ceremony in the garden overlooking the stunning views. For lunch, opt for informal hot food stalls alongside chaat counters and gola stands set up in the Saloon or the Gardens (weather permitted) to keep the atmosphere easy going.
If you’re looking to host a Nikkah ceremony that may require separate rooms for banqueting, the Saloon (seats 70 banquet) and the Ballroom (seats 100 banquet) is ideal to divide guests.
Following on from your ceremony, treat your guests to a champagne (or mocktail) reception serving delicious canapés out in the award-winning gardens overlooking the lake, with lawn games set up if the weather permits. If you’re having a winter wedding spill out into the Great Hall where an open warm fire will be waiting to greet your guests opposite a pop up open bar. Live musicians work perfectly for background music to add to the ambience, or you can create your own personal playlist and connect it to the in-house sound system.
When it comes to the evening reception, there’s no rule to say you have to have a formal sit down meal with a strict schedule. Impress your guests by introducing a more relaxed evening full of good food and great music.
Welcome your guests into the Great Hall with a fully stocked bar. Serve an informal buffet in the Saloon or circulate a range of manapés throughout the night. Entertain your guests in the Ballroom with either a live band or a DJ set up. For guests who want to get away from the music, use the Servant’s Hall as a second bar area with soft furniture so guests can chat and relax.
Display your wedding cake in the Saloon and use as a focal point so guests can see this as they arrive. Begin the evening by cutting the cake follow with a few short and sweet speeches while guests are gathered around, before they begin spilling out into the rest of the house.
